New 2017 imac. Email constantly shows the Yeild warning sign nearly all the time

I get this when I click on the yeild icon "Connections to host Automatically added for iOS & OS X Mail on the default ports failed."

I have tried multiple fixes found in other support communities. I get emal, and it sends, usually, not always right away. but the warning sign drives me crazy. The one fix I can do is the suggesteion to change SSL to SSL/t....somthing, I cant recall right now. That does not show up in Network or Account folder. The support article siad it would be in Account, which makes sence. But I cannot find it.

Is there some help for this. I bought this IMAC from Woot. It was new factory sealed box. But no Apple support. I did all upgrades of course.

Thanks in advance.

No. I ended up with multiple iCloud accounts so I deleted them. But still nothing is working. Every thing that is suggested takes me to the spot where I need to enter my ICloud password. I tried it multiple times. I tried to change my iCloud password on another device but when I ask to change it it gives me a chance to change my Apple ID. Which I did. That password doesn’t work either.

Not a pleasant test, but...

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...

Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.

Does it work in the new account?
