Do I send my username an password to new owners of my old phone? Oops - apparently I didn't do something right when attempting to close out the phone completely.

I did. But apparently I didn't do something correct because I got this email... I've already gone to find my phone and deleted it from there. Frankly, I was surprise to see my old phone there. This is the first time I've attempted to transfer data from an old phone to a new one … Hmmm, Thx for your reply.
You’re welcome. Following all the steps in the article will clear everything from the phone. You should not need to ever share your Apple ID or password with anyone. Keep in mind, if they have your Apple ID and password, they can access everything in your account that you can.

Did you remove the device from your account I.e. is it no longer associated with your Apple ID?
Thx for responding … I thought I did everything correctly :/ But, I'm a noob with transferring data to a new phone and erasing every fingerprint from my old one.
