Active window turns automatically inactive all the time

I am using Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4 on a MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. I received the MacBook yesterday. After installing the first two programs I recognized a software issue (didn't recognize it before, but not sure if it occurred with the software installation or already before).

While I am using any active window (Safari, Finder, Photos.. anything) the window turns automatically inactive, so that I constantly have to click and "wake up" the window which makes working, especially typing something without interruption, impossible (had to wake up this description window at least 30 times while typing in my issue). Does anyone else have that problem?

I read in another chatroom that someone had a similar problem and it had to do with the system configuration "automatic software updates" approved and any other software that was installed and the combination of the two led to the inactivation of active windows. I couldn't figure out how the problem was finally solved, so I am asking for your help. Thank You!

You do not say what exact mac this is?

Uninstall any third party Cleaners, Optimizers, Anti-virus...

To trouble shoot further you can:

—Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Login and test. Reboot and test as caches get rebuilt.

In Safe mode third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled, it removes malware, etc hampering smooth operation, however a reboot will put it back to normal mode.

This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204443

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.
