Bluetooth speakers will not play iTunes library!

I have a new windows 10 laptop; cannot get iTunes to play through by b/t speakers. I’ve tried ALL the recommendations online, including YouTube, nothing works. I must be doing something wrong. The speakers are paired with the pc, and games & everything else plays through them, except iTunes. I’ve changed the iTunes playback preferences from “Windows audio session” to “Direct Sound”, back and forth without any luck. Any help will be appreciated!

Hello BEACHBUM 8,

It sounds like you're having trouble getting audio from iTunes to play through your Bluetooth speaker on your Windows computer. I'd like to help you out with this.

Try keeping your iTunes Preferences on Direct Sound, and then completely restart iTunes. If it's still not working, restart your PC and try it again. You'll also need to make sure your iTunes version is completely up to date: Update to the latest version of iTunes. An additional step you can try is adjusting your default Windows sound settings. Reach out to Microsoft support if you aren't sure how to do this.
