Hi if you are using the staffpad music notation app. Are you having trouble with the eraser? The apple pencil should automatically erase when you apply a bit more pressure. Unfortunately my pencil is not working right. Any advice would be appreciated. I am using a brand new ipad pro and apple pencil.

I had the same issue. The solution is to press quite hard to get the erase function happening. I use a screen protector, and that means i guess that the ‘slight pressure’ the help page says to use is not quite right. Press quite hard.

I am still not sure what to do. Perhaps when stores open again I can bring the ipad and pencil to an apple representative.

Thank you for the advice. Would you mine telling me if your screen protector is permanent or removable? I prefer to have something removable. I have tried to apply "a lot" of pressure without a screen protector and the eraser will not kick in? The pressure does work with my art programs. Oh well I'll try some kind of screen protector.
