Contacts

My mom’s Iphone was broken and was repaired by Apple and she used another iPhone for the time being. She has a paid ICloud account but none of her contacts was backed up or saved on ICloud but her photos are. I checked on www.icloud.com. Does anyone know why?

If Apple can’t fix her phone and give her a different phone, can they transfer the contact to this device?

Thanks

Was this article followed https://support.apple.com/en-ie/guide/iphone/iph14a87326/ios

if the settings were done accordingly on the broken iPhone , the contacts have saved on the iCloud server .

When a new iPhone is purchased and set up https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT202033

And same old Apple ID and password is signed in to set up iCloud https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT208681

The contacts will start syncing .
