So complicated and no need for it, Blocked mail??

Ive looked up over and over how to block emails on Mac using Mojave. It says its easy just click on the person who sent it then use the Block sender button. If there was a Block sender button I would have used it 5 years ago when I bought int this very overcomplicated system. Ive looked up in preferences how to add a blocked sender button and only very complicated answers. Ive looked into advanced. Ive looked at Rules but that asks more questions than it gives answers. Also as I write this why oh why can't the apostrophe autofill on "Ive" as you can see it never does and I've tried everything I can think of. I would really appreciate someone letting me know mainly the first question and thanks.

The first one is easy: Block senders in Mail on Mac.

Autocorrect seems complicated because there are both system-wide and app-specific options. First, read Change Keyboard Text preferences on Mac. "Replace With" (for example) intercepts text directly from the keyboard before it's passed to the app you're using.

From that point text correction options are app-specific, since individual apps may offer their own dictionaries and autocorrect capabilities:

For Pages, Numbers, Keynote (for example):

Set up auto-correction and add words to your spelling dictionary in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote
