Unable to send Text to Android

Contact your cell phone provider if the above link doesn't help.

Check Settings > Messages and make sure both SMS and MMS are turned on. If they are on, turn both of them off then back on and try again. If that doesn't work contact your cell provider.

Whatever was causing the problem went away on my iPad. No known source for the cause and no known reason it resumed normal operation. Love those technical problems that fix themselves.
