Can't access iCloud backup
Since I upgraded to Catalina, the iCloud icon in System Preferences has vanished. I was backing up with Time Machine via an external HD, but the disk has failed and can't be repaired (I've gone through all the steps). I can get into iCloud via Google, but even signing in that way doesn't get me any options to back up. Can I still back up to the Cloud? If so, how can I do it? Otherwise I guess I have to get a new external HD quickly...?? Thank you for any help!
