Calories burned with a 3rd party app do not contribute to my move goal

Your support page states, "Every full minute of movement that equals or exceeds the intensity of a brisk walk counts toward your daily Exercise and Move goals."

However when I record workouts with my Garmin (because, quite frankly it imports my heart rate from a chest strap which is more accurate) The workout AND calories burned can be SEEN in my Move & Activity menus, and my exercise minutes ring closes, but the calories do not count toward my daily move goal.

Ex: I burned 244 calories during my workout at noon. I can see this workout in my app and on my watch, as well as the source, and it includes the number of calories I burned within it. But my move ring shows that I've only burned 195 calories today.

I even tried using Strava to pull my Garmin workout data and feed it to Apple Health but I have the same problem. This issue makes the statement that exercise is counted toward move goals false. Unless you specify "if recorded on apple watch".
