How do I get my alarm to stop ringing through my airpods?

Whenever my alarm rings when I’m wearing AirPods, it is so loud and scares the life out of me. How do I get it to only ring from my iPad instead of my AirPods?

As long as your AirPods are connected to the iPad and you have an alarm set there, then it will ring in the AirPods.

Remove the AirPods. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be unkind, but that is the choice. As I said, as long as the AirPods are connected, you will receive the sound.
