Activation Lock on Ipad

Bought an Ipad from the company i worked for. Apple id previous employee still on it. How do i erase this?

You don't. The company you got it from is going to have to do that. If they cannot, if they purchased it, they can contact Apple, with the original sales receipt and ask for assistance with unlocking it. You cannot unlock it.

As explained by ChrisJ4203, if the iPad is Activation Locked by an AppleID account that you do not control, you need to secure the cooperation of the owner of the account to which the iPad is locked. Unless the lock is removed by the owner of the account last used to activate the iPad, you’ll not be able to defeat or bypass the lock.
