how do i transfer my fcpx from my wifes apple id to my apple if account

Myself and my wife have a home iMac and 4 years ago we downloaded FCPX on her Apple ID on the iMac. I am now purchasing my own computer and want to log in under my own Apple ID and would like to transfer my fcpx from my wifes apple id to my apple if account?

You can't transfer purchases between Apple IDs. You can try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.
