Suspicious Arabic writing and location showing up on my Mac

Hi,

I’ve recently been asked to change my gmail password.

When prompted in Mac mail to update the password, the writing look Arabic (I think) and I have no idea why or how to change this.

I just this minute opened up safari and google maps and the default location was Abu Dhabi!

ill provide photos of the screen.

can anyone help me understand what’s going on?

Feels like this could be a security issue.

I use express VPN if that could have anything to do with it.

so confused and slightly worried.

Thanks people.

Have you restarted yet & tried disabling the VPN?
