MESH Wifi Problem?

I recently upgraded to a Netgear Orbi Mesh system, which is great in expanding my signal strength and coverage for all my devices. However, one strange behavior I began to notice is that once in a while, my Apple TV 4K would say "lost connection...etc." in the middle of streaming Netflix of Prime. Sometimes it fixes itself while other times, I would have to exit the App, wait a little while, and it will be fine again.

My limited reading and research suggests that Mesh is supposed to help bad connection, and in a way it does, except for the Apple TV behavior described above. I live in a NYC apartment. All my neighbors have wifi, of course. Is it possible that my Mesh is switching bandwidth/channel because of crowding signals (especially during prime time) and when it does, it would lose connection to the Apple TV just long enough to cause the problem I experience? Is this an unavoidable property of Mesh wifi, or is it a Netgear problem. My old wifi router never exhibits this behavior (I was able to assigned a 5Ghz channel to the Apple TV, which I can't do with Mesh).

Thanks in advamce for your insights.

Thanks for your input. That's why it was puzzling to me because many others share your experience. I still wonder though if being in an urban environment where the signals from neighbors might play a role. I don't really know anything about channels/band, etc, only from what I read and lots of assumptions. Isn't that the advantage of Mesh because it auto-adjusts to find the optimal speed. If so, maybe the Orbi just doesn't do it very well.
