Apple pay

when trying to verify my card for apple pay , i am trying to verify it through text message but the number says it’s sending to my old phone number and not the number of my current device

iPhone 6s, iOS 13

did you go to settings>Wallet & Apple Pay>transaction defaults - phone number?
