Apple ID problems

Firstly, when I try to update my apps, iTunes keeps asking me for my mom’s Apple ID. But the thing is, it isn’t anywhere on my settings, so I can’t remove it.

Secondly, when I go to update my apps, my Apple ID can be seen on the top of the screen. But then it says that if I have an Apple ID and asks me to sign it with a password. I literally just changed the password and it is telling me it is wrong. What should I do?

Were the Apps acquired originally when you were sharing an Apple ID with your mom? If yes, note that If you downloaded an app using a former Apple ID, then you can't update it with your current Apple ID. You'll have to delete it and repurchase/download it again with your current Apple ID.
