Hello everyone.
I'm trying to control music playback on my iMac using the apple watch. I used to be able to do this with iTunes on Mojave, but it's not working. I've tried to pair the watch with Music, and it does but nothing happens--it doesnt even show what's playing.
The remote app on the iOS (iPhone/iPad) devices seem to be working.
Has anyone gotten this to work?

I understand that you are no longer able to use the Remote app with Apple Music in macOS Catalina.
I would recommend updating watchOS on your Apple Watch. You can learn how to do so here: Update your Apple Watch.
If the issue persists after updating watchOS, I would recommend unpairing/pairing your Apple Watch to your iPhone. You can learn how to do so here: Unpair and erase your Apple Watch, and here: How to pair your Apple Watch with a new iPhone.
