MacBook Pro unrsponsive

I have a recent macbook pro with touchbar and my screen froze. keyboard trackpad and touchbar are unresponsive, but cursor is still moving. I cannot quit, restart, shut down. any suggestions? Right now all i can think of is to let the battery run out or remove the battery. Help! I wish it still had an actual physical power button.
