Hi, I have a new macbook pro but have been struggling to find a hard case for it. Because of the slightly different size there is no guarantee that a 2019 case would fit it. Does anyone know of a manufacturer who is producing covers compatible with A2251? I would really like to protect my new laptop from scratches and my clumsiness.

Yes, at last a case that fits. The keyboard half just snapped in perfectly. Attach the back first then it just clipped in on the front, no problem. The screen half of the case is a little harder to put on, but again start from the bottom of the screen and clip it in then clip the top and it fitted perfectly. Also the screen can open all the way without any issues.

That’s great. Thanks for the photos. I got the crystal clear one. Interesting photo of the cover for the screen, I put mine on the other way round with the clips at the top, they just snapped in place once I got the lower part on the screen.

I could not find a case to fit A2251 model and I refuse to force it into a non A2251 case. They are NOT the same.
I wound up buying from BURGA https://www.burga.com/ out in Lithuania. But be prepared to wait 10-20 days for DHL shipping.
Yes, it seems that other case manufacturers are able to get something to the consumer. I have emails the major players, incase, speck, UAG, etc and their response if any is we have no information to offer you at this time. So, I went to Lithuanian and some have gone to Australia. The cheap cases out of China will crack and damage your Mac. Don’t buy from China, it’s garbage.

Go for such an item as this that is made for your Model.
I am having the same issue. The only cases that I can find that fit the 2251 model all have ventilation slits on the bottom, and cover the actual air intake on the sides. Apple doesn't sell a hard case for this model on thier store.
In my case, I need a hardcase. I need it to be protected even when it's in use.
It's also frustrating how many sellers think this model is exactly the same a previous or have no clue about the ventilation system.
There are some cases for the MacBook Pro 13, A2251 now on eBay made in Sydney. I have ordered one and it should arrive by Thursday so will update post. Hopefully it fits properly, the photos indicate that it should but I will wait and see.
