i just bought a 16" MacBook Pro and i need to connect it to my new BenQ PD2700U monitor so I know ineed to buy an adaptor. Any suggestions on what to buy?

I just bought a new MacBook Pro 16” and I need to connect it to my new BenQ PD2700U monitor so I know I need to buy a adapter. I would also like to be able to also use the USB to USB cable so I have additional USB connectors on the back of the monitor. The monitor came with a Mini DP cable and a HDMI for video connection. Any suggestions on what I should buy? Hub? Separate cable for video? Would monitor work better if I bought a brand new cable with a Thunderbolt 3 connector?

Thanks. I was reading an article on MacWorld that said some third party adapters won't work on Macs so I was concerned about buying something on Amazon.
