Why does my iPhone storage summary show that System Storage and "Other" take up 10GB combined?

I’m having the same issue on my iPhone 7. I’ve removed apps...I do not want to do a reset either :(

Did anyone have success with the reset?

The only way I find to solve this problem.

1. Backup your iPhone on a Mac or PC
2. Turn off Find My iPhone and Erase All Content and Settings
3. Restore iPhone from Mac or PC

Signing off my Apple ID, iCloud, or turning off my phone did nothing to help.

Ignore it? Some apps I can't even open without sufficient storage.

At lease, I did this once to clean up my iPad. I don't have to do it again for quite a while.

I have a 32GB phone and other takes up 21.77GB while system takes up 5.83GB which sums up my space to 31.8GB I need help how can I clear other??

I don’t think the “automatically deleting of cache files” is working very well. I have 45 gigs of “other” that isn’t going away.

I did this and it sorted the problem temporarily, but within a week, ‘other’ was back to over 5MB.

I hope Apple addresses this ASAP. Even after deleting apps, local music and 100s of photos, my other keeps growing. It’s now over a third of my phone’s total capacity! I’m so full I can’t even take a single picture.

Same!!! But my “other” takes up 56GB of storage space!! I wish i could manually remove it because i have 0 space for apps or phots/videos.. please apple add a way we can cleat up the “other storage”!
