No voice in maps

no driving and navigation screen in maps. So no voice direction for driving. Is there a fix or are we all stuck with maps that do not work. This is not a new problem I see.

Voice directions require a cellular iPad. Do you have such a model?

google maps not giving verbal directions in car I use google maps for navigation in my car. Recently it won't give verbal directions so I have to follow on the map. I have tried in in my house and once I click on start I immediately get verbal directions but this doesn't happen when I'm in the car. Voice navigation on Maps stops speaking Several times during a route, the voice navigation will be fine and then for no reason will stop talking for the remainder of the route. My volume is up, and I have check the map settings and all seems good. Can you tell me how I can resolve this so it does not stop speaking. It's difficult to try to check the map visually while driving.
