Macbook air A1465 bio locked

Hi have recently purchased a second hand mac air from an owner but i go stuck at the bio lock screen while trying to reset it to use. I have contacted him and with proof he has deactivated his find my mac but i still can not go pass the bio lock screen what can and do or what must the previous owner do so i can have access?

Hello Diyo,


Are you talking about the BIOS Firmware lock on the MacBook Air? If YES then that is different from Find My [Devices]. A BIOS Firmware lock is placed on the motherboard and is usually present in computers that are issued by an employer. If this is the case then I recommend that you return the MacBook and get a refund.
