Mid 2010 iMac (macOS High Sierra) can't download security updates, internet connection keeps dropping. Using both Ethernet and Wi-Fi, both slow down then the download stops with the message "Internet Connection was lost - (.1005)". Newer iMac and desktop computers connect and download without any issues. Internet very slow as well.

You can try this manually in a terminal window: sudo ifconfig awdl0 down
To reverse the command, type: sudo ifconfig awdl0 up

You only posted part of the report, that does not help us much. However what I do see is you have adware installed and the Hard Disk is failing.

Did you see that your Hard Drive is failing and that you have adware installed. Your computer needs to be serviced or you may want to consider replacing it, please remember it is 11 year old.
