How can I set a day for an alarm to go off that doesn't repeat on another day

Go into the Clock app and add a new alarm - under repeat, don’t select anything so that ‘never’ shows up under repeat on the main alarm screen.

If you want to stop an existing alarm from repeating, tap edit, then the alarm you want to edit and follow the steps above.
