GarageBand iOS and AmpliTube

Hey all,

So I’m very new to GarageBand and DAW software in general, so I hope I can make some sense here.

I have a clean, pre recorded guitar track (WAV) which I imported into GarageBand on my iPad. Is there a way to apply the amp sounds from AmpliTube to the guitar track?

I figured out how to record the guitar directly through amplitube using inter-app audio, but I cant seem to apply the AmpliTube filters on a pre recorded track. Is this even possible?

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Garage Band I like the Guitar feature on iPad and would like to use it to record a few tracks on another recording that I am busy on on my iMac. Can this be done ?
