It would be a standard HDMI cable. There is a smaller port below the HDMI and that is for micro USB, which is used to connect to a computer and restore the device.
Be aware that the 2nd gen is classified as obsolete so it is no longer supported by Apple, and existing providers have also been dropping support for their streaming 'channels' on that model.
The TV and the Apple TV box would use the exact same size HMDI port Type A (14 × 4.55 mm).
Log into Bestbuy.com and order a HDMI cable of the length needed.
