Hi everyone.
I use app Books in my Ipad pro (11 inches) to read and edit pdf files.
However, files are getting larger and larger after every of my edit. And by edit I mean highlight & taking notes (nothing fancy here).
From the original size of few MB, these files now are measured by GB –_–
Do you guys have the same problem and how to deal with that ?
Any help would be appreciated.

That’s how PDF files tend to behave. Remember PDF was developed in the 1990s as a file format intended to present images. PDF files are intended to depict things like pixel positions, not to be edited. You would be much better off editing the original source of the PDF if possible. Otherwise you will enlarge the file as you have been doing.

Can you explain more about "original source" of the pdf file ?
All of my pdf files are textbooks. If it is always the case for pdf files as you mentioned, is there any solution for me in reading and taking note in these textbooks ?

For what it’s worth, all through my schooling which included 6½ years of post high school education, I never at any time placed one mark in any textbook. It’s been quite a few years, and I still own some of those books. We all have our individual learning styles, I know.

Since you’re talking about textbooks, you cannot access the original source (which might be the Microsoft Word or similarly produced document available to the author).
Marking up textbooks requires a lot of pixels which takes a lot of storage.
