iTunes Match and deleting a local copy of a song

I have Catalina and iTunes Match. How do I delete a local copy of a song without deleting it from my Cloud library?

Right-click > Remove Download.

Delete songs from iTunes library Hi just signed up for iTunes Match running a MacBook Pro 2015 as my main source of music. Its gone through all the initial matching process and completed the uploads. When it comes to deleting songs from iTunes though the only option that comes up is to to delete from iCloud library and all my other devices. I don’t want to do that. Just remove local songs from the MacBook and associated iTunes library and leave them in the cloud. Tried option delete and the only options is still to delete from iCloud library. Any ideas?

How do I remove songs from icloud and not remove it from iTunes? Once I've added a song to my iCloud Music Library, how do I reverse that so it is only stored locally and not in iCloud? So far the things I've tried have resulted in the file being removed from my local iTunes as well. Then I have to go get it out of the trash and add it back to my collection. What I'd like to do is simply have iCloud forget about the track and leave my collection alone.
