Family Sharing - Payment update

I have updated my Apple ID payment card. The previous was deleted in the process. However, the family sharing payment still shows the old one. When go to edit it, the details shown match the new card. Is there a time delay of 24 hours or so before the systems recognise the new card? Or have I missed something?

Changing payment method for Family sharing? Apple has stored an old, dead credit card number in my account for "Family sharing". I have, I think, tried everywhere to edit this so the card number is up to date, but I can find nowhere that provides an option to change the payment method associated with "Family sharing". My AppleID has all the right card numbers, but both in that pane on my desktop System Preferences and also on the relevant places in the App store the wrong number is shown for Family Sharing and is impossible to edit. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but how can I fix this?

Can’t change payment info My husband started a family sharing back in 2015, and is the organizer for this family, which includes me. However, he no longer has any apple products. My Apple ID is being used for this purpose, but for some reason I am unable to make any changes to the payment info, even after leaving the family sharing group. The card on apple payments is expired and needs to be updated, but the “edit” button is greyed out and unable to be clicked. There also is no “add new payment” button. I have left the family sharing (as I mentioned), but family sharing still shows up in certain places, like subscriptions. How do I (1) de-link my Apple ID from this family sharing account, and (2) change my card info?

Update payment on a different device than where the payment was set up How do I update my payment for iCloud/family share if I no longer have access to the original device. The payment option is not highlighted on my device. It was set up on my late husband’s computer and I do not have access.

Have you tried logging out of the App Store/iTunes and then back in to see if that updates the payment method?
