suddenly i have a Password Requirement message on my iPhone

Suddenly I have a Password Requirement message on my iPhone stating “To change your passcode, first enter your current passcode.” When I enter my current passcode, it will not accept it. It also will not power off. Any suggestions?

I have no idea why you got that message. Was it a text message? Ifg so, it might have Benn a scam. The Apple ID password is different from the iPhone passcode. Perhaps this article will help:
