Screen time requests

I have suddenly lost the ability to approve screen time requests for one of the two children on my family sharing. I am the organizer and there is another parent. We both are getting the requests as normal but when I approve, nothing happens. It only happens for one of my listed kids. Also, this particular kid is no longer sharing location but don’t know how this feature got turned off for both of the kid’ s devices - iPhone and iPad. I can’t get it to turn back on and it sends a request but this particular request I don’t receive, unlike the screen time requests. We’ve rebooted and updated latest versions of software for each device.

Hi there KingMommy_DMV,

I understand that you're approving screen time requests through Family Share however the requests do not respond. Utlizing Family Sharing is a great feature, I'd be happy to assist.

Here is a resource below that can help:

If you can't see your family's shared content

While this resource isn't specific to what you're experiencing, there are steps inside that can resolve issues with Family Sharing.

Specifically, let's try these steps:

"On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:

If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later, go to Settings > [your name], then tap Sign Out. If you're using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores, tap your Apple ID and then tap Sign Out.

Follow the on-screen steps.

Enter your Apple ID password, then select Sign In."

I hope this helps,

Cheers!
