Wondering if its possible to merge old and new apple ids yet? I saw that it wasn't an option in the past but no one has asked in 3+ years. I don't remember why I created a new apple id years ago but somehow the account on my MacBook is different than the one on my iPhone and iPad

No still can't merge apple id.
Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
Why is it that difficult to MERGE Apple ID’s ? I got slammed by a malware attack and changed my Apple ID and had no idea I was carrying around a couple Apple id’s not just 2! This should be able to be handled by Apple tech people
