I have an older TV and I'm trying to connect Apple TV but I don't have an available HDMI input. I tried a converter from my usb input but that didn't work. I also tried to connect the apple tv to my bluray machine which is how I stream videos ( netflix, amazon) but that didn't work...any suggestions??

Apple TV’s video signals cannot be used over USB. You must connect Apple TV directly to your TV using HDMI.

Any HDMI splitter should work. You will want to look for one that supports HDMI-CEC and HDCP.
Thanks for the feedback. Can I use a splitter for the HDMI input since both of the HDMI inputs are being used? If so what kind splitter will allow for the Apple TV?
