Camera display ratio while recording video

On this new iPad, the camera, in video mode, displays 4:3 ratio, but records 16:9 ratio, so the left and right sides of the video are not visible while recording.

I want the camera to display 16:9 while recording video, so I can see the whole video while recording, but I cannot find any relevant option in settings, nor any advice about how to do this. Attempting to zoom out or a similar action on the camera display has not worked.
