Is there any way to sync my newly-purchased used MBP 2011 running High Sierra with my Catalina Keychain? I also have an iPad Pro and an iPhone XR.
Every time I try to turn on Keychain sync on the MBP I get an error.
Any ideas? I have searched for hours for a solution to this and came up with nothing.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

I'll try in a few minutes, thanks so much fir the suggestion. I would normally suggest that for crashes and general "weird" behavior of macOS but for some reason I didn't think of it in this case. Thanks again and I'll report back.
