MacBook Pro 2017 Screen Issue (Glitch)

MacBook Pro 2017 13Inch without Touchbar.

i was using this MacBook normally typing some stuff in Words while looking on an article and then the glitch appears,

out of no where-

What I define as a glitch is a Vertical Lines that ussually green / white that flickering on lower part of my screen.

its not really visible on dark screen, but when it white screen, the glitch appears more (more intense).

I tried NVRAM, SMC Reset, OS surface to check if it’s because the OS and it’s not.

i tried run Hardware Diagnostic aswell and it says there’s nothing wrong with it.

I also try to run Malware diagnostic on “Clean My MacX” app, and there’s no adwares or viruses located inside.

This is exactly what Macbook Pro2017 user facing with, I wonder why apple only support MacBook Pro 2016 to give them free replacement for “flex gate”.

Can someone help me fix this issue?

(it’s currently public holiday in here, and I will try to bring this to apple service next 2 Days)

But still I wanna know 1st what causing this problem.

thanks in advance

Does an external display show the lines?

Option Boot the laptop by holding down the Option key immediately after powering on the laptop so you can access the Apple boot picker menu. If you see the lines on the Apple boot picker menu, then you have a hardware issue of some sort. You can also try booting into Internet Recovery Mode using Command + Option + R to bypass the OS on your laptop. If the lines appear you most likely have a hardware issue.

First thing to do is uninstall CleanMyMac and any other third party anti-virus, security apps or cleaning apps as by following the developer's instructions. These types of apps are not needed on a Mac and usually cause more problems than they solve plus they impact system performance.

Vertical lines are not exactly related to the backlight free repair program. Usually a vertical line indicates an LCD panel failure which does mean the entire Display Assembly will need to be replaced. To confirm the issue is only on the built-in display connect an external display. If the external display is Ok, then the built-in Display Assembly is defective.

I reached my way to Apple authorized service provider. I tried the Recovery mode and the lines are still in there. Right now they’re doing the diagnostic service for a week and will let me know what they found later on.

The servicer told me that it might be because the user use “sleep mode” a lot when they’re not using it again for short period of time, that thing could lead into these glitches. but they’re not sure yet, so they’ll open it up and let me know what steps should I take. Wish me luck guys :(
