When using CarPlay, how do you turn off the audio alerts that you are travelling over the speed limit? They warnings kept interrupting the music. Using Google Maps, iPhone 11 and CarPlay in a Mazda. Asking for a friend...

I've checked the settings with Google Maps but haven't had any success. There is an option to disable 'show speed limits' - I want to see speed limits - I just don't want to have an audio alert if I ever go over a speed limit.
Investigated this some more on the weekend and discovered the issue was within the Mazda infotainment system. When retrofitting Apple CarPlay, the service centre performed a factory reset on the Mazda infotainment system which turned on audio speed alerts by default. Despite running Apple CarPlay, the alerts are still present in the background infotainment system!
To fix the problem exit CarPlay, load the Mazda Built in navigation and modify the alert settings.
That's a feature of Google Maps.
Change the setting in Google Maps.
I would like to keep voice navigation guidance switched on.
Any idea how this is done whilst whilst muting the speed alerts?
Check the settings for Google Maps.
If you can't find it, then contact Google for support.
