Touch pad on new magic keyboard for iPad Pro

Hello, My touch pad on the new magic keyboard for iPad Pro is not working. I don’t see the cursor on the screen. The keyboard is working and the keys are backlit. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help.

Yes - to solve it I turned off IPad then unplugged the keyboard. Then plugged keyboard in and turn on IPad. It must have reset itself. Thank you!

Thank you. I have been using the keyboard for the last three weeks with no problem. I went through this material when I received it and looked at it again earlier today when the touch pad stopped working. Is there a next step you would suggest?
