My Apple Watch won’t sync my music, podcasts or audiobooks. It says “waiting”.

My Apple Watch won’t sync music, podcasts, or audiobooks. I selected different playlists, books and podcasts. It says “2 playlists” and under it says “waiting”. Same goes for the other options, “2 audiobooks” under it says “waiting”. I have had this issue for months. I thought it was resolved and then it just recently started doing it again. I bought the watch specifically because I can’t have my phone at my work so I listen to music, podcasts, and audiobooks and now I can’t. Help. I did contact Apple senior advisor to help a few months ago and they couldn’t figure it out.

Were you able to get your music to sync to the Watch. I tried this afternoon and was able to get an album synced to my watch. It would only work when the Watch was on the charger, and I had selected the album in Music on my iPhone. This is a series of screenshots while the music synced. You will notice at the bottom of the first one that the music will not sync until the Watch is connected to the charger and the iPhone is nearby. The last one is what it looks like at the top area when it is done syncing. You will also see that it took around 6 minutes to sync a regular size album. So keep that in mind for time. You can watch the sync process down towards the bottom where you can see the circular part next to the album name.

I'm not sure that it does it immediately. According to other information I've read, it does it when the Watch is charging. Try setting this up to sync music before you go to bed at night and charge both devices overnight. See what happens in the morning. I'm looking for the additional information I spoke of, and cannot find it that fast.
