Cant run Mojave update

I try to update my Mac to Mojave and it tells me it can't because the file is damaged? What do I do?

Since your Mac can go to later OS like Catalina, you can not use the Mojave from the Appstore.

If it is in your Applications folder, delete it and empty the Trash.

Delete any copy of "Install macOS Mojave" from the Applications folder then try downloading it aagain while in Safe Mode.
