How to get rid of Other Data i.e. 27 GB from my Iphone, i almost used all type of methods from internet. Does anyone know the final solution for this issue.....!!!!!

Backed it up several times before and after removing the few apps I use. I don't use iCloud but may have to start. A I said 3 GB apps and data , 5 GB system and 8 GB OTHER... This happened a couple of releases previously and self corrected as soon as I installed 13.5.1 it happened again. Between this and the sync not working for Contacts and Calendars with outlook my iPhone is useless.. Had an iPhone since the 3 on day one but only the last few years have we had this many problems..

I have been deleting and offloading apps on my phone, but nothing changes. Two thirds of my storage is showing as Other (other system data). It is making things slow and not work as well on others. How do I fix this?!

This really is getting ridiculous, Apple needs to fix this. Stop pretending this isn’t a problem. We are being told the system will take care of managing other in the memory but it isn’t doing that. Please, please fix this.

I have the exact same storage allocations as you, 3, 5 and 8 gig. Still looking for solutions. Even Apple support could not help and recommended I get rid of my 16 gig phone for one with at least 64 gig storage.

this isn’t true, if it were we wouldn’t have a problem with our devices. This is a huge problem with our devices, makes it almost unusable. Might be time to switch to A Google device. Apple has let us down.

I've also tried EVERYTHING have been putting off factory restart. I already ordered a new phone but will be a few days before it gets here. And I'm nervous to factory restart before I get my new phone just in case I don't back up stuff to the cloud correctly. But my phone is literally unusable at this point d/t full storage and I no longer have anything I can delete. Did you back up everything?

Same problem here. Iphone 7, 32 GB of which at least 23 GB is ‘other.’ Any time I delete apps, pictures, or podcasts to make a little more space, the newly filled space is quickly consumed by ‘other.’ I have tried all methods suggested and nothing worked. Spent an evening reseting the phone and even that didn’t help (within a few days, ‘other’ had ballooned to consume nearly all the memory). Customer service is a complete waste of time. I’ve been a happy customer since literally the first iPod, but it might finally be time to jump ship.

Getting another phone with more memory wont help either, sorry. I have a 64 GB and I have 25 GB in other and 26 GB in photo and ALL my apps are either deleted or offloaded and the more I delete the bigger "other" gets and my phone remains full and useless. It' driving me crazy!!!

Same plot Len. We delete apps and the Other Data just fills up. The iPad continue not operate in a normal fashion. Is it an issue with the current version of IOS?

Absolutely! Android devices are perfect, and never have any problems.

Well they aren’t but most of the time iOS has been a couple of steps ahead of android but in this case they are steps behind.

I have the same iphone 7, 32 GB. "Other" is using 23.01 GB! This was just right before I updated IOS 13.6. Never had this issue before.

I’ve tried it all but this is the final straw if I upgrade my phone and that doesn’t fix anything I’m gonna switch to Android my life as an apple user is on the line because of this it’s an outrage!
