Huge problem with my apps

I updated my apps this morning, and now I can’t open them. When I try to open them, they say that the app is no longer shared with me. See the attached image to see what I mean.

I know this has to be a bug because none of my apps were installed from Family Sharing.

The only way I could fix it was to delete the app and reinstall it, which really isn’t an efficient solution but it is effective. Except it deletes all the app data.

I have iOS 13.5, which came out yesterday.

Hello jeremynwest,

I understand from your question that you are seeing this popup message saying the app is no longer shared with you. I can certainly help you with this!

This issue happened to me as well yesterday. The solution is removing the app and redownloading it from the App Store.

I hope this is able to resolve your issue. If you have any more questions or this does not resolve your issue, please reach back out on the thread!

Cheers.

I discovered that after updating to iOS 13.5, the following things can fix the apps.

• Deleting the affected app and getting it from the App Store again. (Deletes all app data)

• Offloading the affected app and getting it from the App Store.

• Waiting until the app developer releases any update for the affected app and updating it.

Updating apps in the future still using iOS 13.4.1 may still suffer from this issue. I don’t know if these solutions work without updating to iOS 13.5.
