Epson sytlus pro 3880 print dialog limited abilities

Haven't touched my printer in a while but now many of the print menu items don't work; are greyed out or just not even there. Like Media Types - just gone. I can no longer control anything. Am able to choose Photoshop manages colors, and a paper profile, but it stops there. It's defaulting to AccuPhoto which is something I've never used before.

Uninstalled and reinstalled epson driver.

Running a 10 year old imac with 10.13.6

Epson software says I need to install printer software but I don't know what it's talking about as I downloaded latest driver.

Please help!

Thank you

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Might need to then reinstall the Printer Driver &...

In System Preferences>Fax & Print, Right click or Control+click on the Printers list Sidebar, choose Reset Printing System.

if you hold option and click the "-" tab it resets the printing system.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup).

Any devices that previously appeared in your Printer List and Fax List will need to be added again after resetting the printing system.

Resetting the printing system in Mac OS X

  1. To use the Reset Printing System feature in Mac OS X, follow these steps:
  2. Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.
  3. Choose Print & Fax from the View menu.
  4. Control-click on list of printers on the left side of the window, then choose "Reset printing system" from the contextual menu. If you don't see a list of printers, Control-click on the text "Click + to add a printer or fax" and select "Reset printing system..."

As an alternative, if you currently have one or more printers listed, you can Option-click the "-" (Remove printer) button.
