Silence Unknown Callers stopped working since May 15 2020

This feature was working great for me for a long time but now it's letting all calls through as if the feature is disabled. I unchecked and checked the box again to be sure but no luck. The device is iPhone11 iOS 13.3.1. Any ideas?

I know it’s in the settings but it’s either that or silence it all the time. I don’t want it silenced at all. This is so annoying that you can’t change it. I’m not stupid I’ve had iPhones since iPhone 3s and I have been searching and reading everything I can on this issue. This is something that really needs to be fixed. Missing very important calls is beyond annoying.

Silenced Calls I am using an iPhone 7 and my wife is using an iPhone XR. In my phone, ring is not being received when the calls are from unsaved numbers; then a notification appears that there was a silent call from the number appearing there. No such issue is there in my wife’s iPhone XR. I find that similar problem is faced by many. The resin for some calls going silent is seen mentioned as “turning on DND”. Actually in my phone DND is switched off. Yet there is an option to select when the calls have to be silenced, either ‘Always’ or ‘When the phone is locked’. This option should not have been there when DND is not ‘ON’. I think there is a bug. To my belief this issue started appearing only recently, after installation of iOS 14.3 or 14.4. Could anyone suggest a solution?

It is not. Current is iOS 13.5.

Your version was superseded by a later version on March 24, 2020.

Ok. Thanks. I have automatic updates configured in the Settings. Not sure why it didn't update.
