Replacement iPad mini turned on them stuck in reboot it seems like
My son has an iPad mini, his original one wouldn’t charge anymore so they just sent a replacement under Apple care. Took it out of the box and it turned in, said it had 93% battery life so we went to start it up as a new iPad manually. Right when it got the screen where you select country it powered down and then a black screen appeared with a white Apple logo and that been repeating ever since. Black screen with white Apple logo then turns off and just keeps doing that over and over. I did a hard reset holding down the top button and home screen button and it did that about 5 times and then had the charger cord sign plugging into a computer with a message at the very top saying support.apple.com/iPad/restore. Should this be going this? Did a combination of buttons get held down to do something to it while my son was carrying it to its case? How do I fix?
