download older version of pages for Mac
I can't download the newest version of pages because I'm using macOS High Sierra. can I download an older version
iMac 21.5", macOS 10.13

Pages v7.3 thru v8.1 can run on High Sierra. If you never installed Pages on High Sierra, then you are done as Apple does not provide downloadable, full installers for older versions of Pages. If you have an installed Pages in the preceding version range, then I would modify dialabrain's suggestion with using the option key when selecting the Mac App Store Purchases tab. If an entry for Pages is present, it may have an update button. If so, it will likely get you to Pages v8.1.
