2019 MacBook Air running hot at idle

Im not running anything and the cpu is at 70 degrees. I restarted the Mac and reset the SMC to no avail. I tend to use my Mac with heavy programs, but if its at 70 degrees idle I'm scared to open anything. I also saw some files randomly appear on my desktop, but I removed them it hasn't happened again, but this leads me to think I may have a virus?

Some default apps and preference panes not responding 2019 MBP - Ventura 13.0.1 Some apps have begun to freeze up while running and then will not reopen. Music, Messages, Mail. App store will also sit on "loading" spinning indefinitely. Calendar also froze today but a force quit allowed it to restart. Also some preference pane tabs (users & groups, privacy & security, wallet & apple pay) will not load and then turn up "not responding" in the Force Quit menu. Restarting the computer allows the apps to reload but does not allow the preference panes to work. Apps begin to freeze again in less than 24hrs. Safe mode allowed the privacy and security pane to load. When force quitting any of these the report Event is listed as "hang" I have AVG antivirus (basic) and Malwarebytes installed and they find no problems. I installed Malwarebytes after the problem started to show up because I was suspicious of malware. Nothing new was installed recently before the problem started to show up. I'm not sure what to try next.

Rebooting & Touch Bar Crashes after Ventura update Hey Everyone, After updating to Ventura, my Mac Pro 2019 occasionally restarts after a suspected problem while on sleep mode and the touch bar disappears. I keep sending the crash report to Apple so hopefully on the next update they can fix the issue. For the moment what works is that I have to keep reseting the SMC but it's such a pain, and it keeps rebooting every so often

Were you able to open and use the Activity Monitor app and see what is talking up the CPU capacity? If NOT then do that. Activity Monitor app will show you which process or an app is taking up all the resources. Once you identify it then you can make adjustments such as shutting that process / app down etc.
