I was wearing an Apple Watch band on my watch and while I was in a river the watch band undid and I lost my watch in the water. Does Apple do anything for this?? Has anyone else had a problem with their band not doing what it should do? I’m so annoyed. It’s even the sport performance band.
The very same thing happened to me. I barely bumped it and it fell off my wrist right into the lake. Makes me sick. Very poor design.
I just called Apple to share the exact same issue. The watch slipped right off in the water. My heart hurts. I loved that watch. I even had the sport band on it and had no issues up until this happened. I am hesitant to purchase a replacement as I'm afraid the same thing will happen. Very poor band design.

Same here. Rafting on the river and looked down to find it was gone. Sucks.
My new watch band slips through the end. Other ones stop sliding at the end.
I'm afraid loss of a watch isn't covered under warranty.
